Within the International Symposium of Housing (WISH), a cooperatin agreement has been signed between the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction and the Academy of Architecture of the Italian University of Switzerland. The goal of the agreement is, by developing cooperation between the two universities, contribute to quality enhancement of social housing.

Within the cooperation, a research seminar took place in the YSUAC conference hall participated by the RA Deputy Minister of Civil Construation Karlen Gevorgyan, RA First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration Vache Terteryan, Deputy Governor of Syunik marz Ara Dolunts, and professor of the Italian University of Switzerland, International Symposium Officer Martino Pedrocci, and others.

Within the Social Housing project in Goris, five students from each of the YSUAC and Mendrisio Universities, will develop social housing plans for the town of Goris through collaboration with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Design works will start in Armenia, then - from January 25 to March 6 – will be continued in the Academy of Architecture, Switzerland. Upon completion of the project, demonstration of developed projects will be conducted both in Switzerland and in Armenia.
